Salmonella enterica ssp. enterica on Endo agar with biochemical slope (see here). Mucoid form. Isolate from a patient with urinary tract infection.

Lactose negative
Sucrose negative
Mannitol positive
Gas from glucose
Hydrogen sulfide positive
Urea negative

Compare with the growth on TSI (triple sugar iron agar).
